It was with great disappointment that we report that DATEL has decided to RIP OFF the work of Team C + D who created Pandora\’s Battery for all PSP owners for FREE (all the information). Datel has just launched a new range of PSP batteries which do exactly the same as Pandora\’s Battery and are shifting them for a tidy profit as they have good economies of scales on PSP batteries. Moreover, they have no shame and give absolutely NO CREDIT to the original developers of the software and to see a peripheral maker who manages to squeeze into retail outlets display such unethical business practice is nothing short of disgusting. For such a \’high profile\’ company to profit off of homebrew hackers work without even so much as a credit is beyond belief, one can only imagine how Dark_Alex, Fanjita (things like this is why he retired from the PSP scene) and the rest of the team will feel. So please join us in putting two fingers up to Datel not only for ripping off the work of hackers but also essentially scamming customers as all the software is FREELY AVAILABLE. In an earlier story, we reported that an Italian retail chain seemingly got their delivery of the Halo 3 limited edition. There is still speculation as to whether the mountaint of sealed tin cases actually contained the disc as none of the shots actually shown the game disc. However a new picture was posted in the thread which shows another stand alone sighting of the Halo 3 limited edition as well as the normal game case, unfortunately again the disc is not shown. A rather annoyed Datel Max Media Player owner has heard from Datel staff that they have abanonded produced updatings for their Max Media Player for DS and are only supporting their newer Games \’n Music device. While this seems logical, many will be left frustrated as Datel has never really supported either device well and left many owners in the lurch. Read more here.
The managing director of Guerilla has commented that Killzone 2 is only possible on the PS3 console and simply would not be able to run on any console that required regular DVD discs. The MD claimed Blu-ray is needed for making games and not important for watching movies, while stating that if Killzone 2 was ever on Xbox 360 there would have to be some seriously good shortcuts taken and near impossible.
