The Dean of Manchester Cathedral has demanded that Resistance: Fall of Man is removed from the BAFTA\’s following a nomination in the Games division. Church ministers have branded the nomination as a disgrance and BAFTA should not be seen to be condoning such behaviours unless they think it is ok to walk into historic buildings and ignore contracts and liability.

During an annual EB Games meeting, regional store manages were handed out some form of Assassin\’s Creed comic book after experiencing a short demo of the game. The respective comic contains a few spoilers in the sense that it shows the basic fundamentals of the game and gives away some of the plot. You can see all the leaked parts at photobucket.com.

Neoasic managed to get their hands on the D2Ckey (and confirm it is from the original makers of the Wiikey). The mod requires 31 wires and 2 jumps to install and they managed to find alternate soldering points to make things that little bit easier.

The E-commerce times indicates that the introduction of the 40GB PS3 SKU may actually confuse customers. Sony\’s continuous adjustment of prices and introducing of new SKU\’s could have negative consequences in the long-run. Analyst Patcher believes Sony has done a poor job in managing the PS3 SKUs, essentially confusing customers with a disjointed marketing plan which has already introduced four different SKUs. The question of when is the right time to buy a PS3 is raised, because if you feel that a new version or price cut is around the corner, then it is not worth purchasing the current models.

eFlux media, a site which promises to \” deliver the latest World, Business, Science, Health, Technology and Entertainment News\” has put forward a view that poor treatment by MS may have been a contributing factor to Bungie going solo. They claim MS are famous for treating partners badly and in a \’moody\’ way with Bungie being no exception.

Sony\’s Ray Maguire has gone on record to say that the reason Sony decided to cut the price of the PS3 is because they have been listening to their consumers. They were receiving messages that consumers really wanted to get involved in the PS3 experience but it was just too much, so Sony went back to the drawing board and created the 40GB SKU. Maguire also believes that the price cut will also encourage those who heavily attacked the Playstation brand for the initial high pricing to come back into the fold and feel involved as they will deem the product worth it.

A method has been found to run the UPNand Tool 64 on the PSP Slim complete with the display which is useful in order to unbrick the PSP slim as it supports 64MB Nands and this also has built in functions to backup the idstorage which results in less messing around when unbricking a PSP Slim. The joys of technology are once again expressed in the Cumberland Elementary School in Indiana where three Wii consoles are being used as tools for education. The Wii is helping students to learn Georgraphy, Math and English and as you\’d expect the kids are really enjoying the use of such \’teaching aids\’.

The latest issue of EGM is running a couple of rumors and two of them are promising for PS3 owners. The first is that Epic Games and Sony have resolved their issues with the Unreal Tournament 3 license and they might be working together on an exclusive PS3 title. Moreover, Hideo Kojima is hard at work completing MGS 4 but he\’s also working on another PS3 exclusive title un-related to the Metal Gear franchise.
