Ys I & II, Rolling Thunder 2 Due have been rated which is usually a good indication that they will come to North America in the next few weeks. Ys Book I & II is a role-playing game collection released for the Turbografx-CD and Rolling Thunder 2 is a side-scrolling shooter classic.

Different Strokes star Gary Coleman has auctioned off his signed GameCube along with all six games he has purchased for it, which suggests that he is not hot on gaming. The console and all the games were signed by the actor and the auction ended on November 10th at a winning bid of $510.

GT5 Prologue has taken roughly 3 years and 320,000 man-hours to get this far, creator and producer of the Gran Turismo series, Kazunori Yamauchi has said. He said they have 120 people working on the game 40 of whom are car modelers. In the first Gran Turismo, one car model took an average of one day to create, where now it takes them 180 days to do one car. In GT4 they used 4000 to 5000 polygons to create a car, in GT5 the number rises to 200,000. Yamauchi\’s interest in cars started when he was around 4, but he didn\’t get his drivers license until the age of 24 because of the expense in Japan. He currently owns a Nissan 350Z, Honda S2000, Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG, Porsche 996 GT3 and two Ford GTs.

MegaTV HD IPTV service for PS3 launches in Korea tomorrow

MegaTV\’s video on demand service for the PS3 will launch tomorrow in Korea.Content of the PS3 IPTV service includes drama series, animated features, movies and sports. The MegaTV support came for Korean PS3 users via the firmware 2.0 update already and is supposed to activate tomorrow via the MegaTV site.

PS3 is actually on par with Xbox 360 sales by end of first year?

Despite a common belief that the PS3 is suffering very badly, VG Chartz estimates suggest that the PS3 is on par with the Xbox 360 in terms of its sales during the first year of its release. For their one year launch periods, the PS3 sold 5,552,074 units in comparison to the Xbox 360\’s 5,656,039 which indicates that there isn\’t much in it at all.
