The Balance Board will be used for training mini games such as jump rope training and push ups. \”We also have famous boxing trainers putting together routines and workouts using the Balance Board and the controls, so you can really take advantage of the whole BMI system that Nintendo and Wii have in place.\” said Seymour.
According to reports, peekaboo, who make products such as a pole dancing kit inspired and endorsed by Hollywood star and professionally-trained-dancer Carmen Electra, are hoping to make a pole dancing Wii game. There are currently no other details about the game.
Nintendo of America has announced pricing details the U.S. release of Wii Fit. Available at Nintendo World store starting on May 19, Wii Fit and the innovative Wii Balance Board accessory will be bundled and sold together at a suggested retail price of $89.99. Consumers in the New York area who pre-order Wii Fit from the Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Plaza will receive a special bonus item. From April 18-20, the first 1,000 consumers who place a $5 deposit for Wii Fit will receive a limited edition Wii Fit T-shirt featuring the image and reproduced autograph of legendary Nintendo video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto.

Ubisoft today announced the imminent release of a fully playable demo for Haze. Coming exclusively to the PSN in early May, this playable demo will give gamers a taste of not only the single-player campaign in Haze, but will also allow up to four-player, drop-in drop-out co-op play online. Haze is scheduled for release exclusively on the PS3 on May 20th 2008 in the US.

Sony have issued a SingStar Vol.2 on PS3 press release revealing some new details. The game will feature the new harmony duet mode which lets you put your vocal skills to the test as you perform different lines to a song against your SingStar rival. Also SingStar Vol. 2 also includes Remote Play functionalities with PSP. Using PSP and a wireless Internet connection, players will be able to access various areas of the game such as Singstore and My SingStar Online.
