Bungie excited about Halo/Peter Jackson game

Bungie have spoken out recently after it was revealed Microsoft was \”Microsoft is building a development team to work on future Halo game titles - the first one being collaboration with Peter Jackson.\” Just like the upcoming Halo Wars from Ensemble, this isn\’t \”our\” game. However, having worked with him already, we are possibly more excited than you are to see what someone of Peter Jackson’s imagination, talent and resources can bring to a Halo game experience. Bungie will, however, continue to remain very much involved in multiple aspects the Halo Universe as part of our ongoing relationship with Microsoft. Also, they say that we\’ll soon be hearing about a variety of projects underway at Bungie and that there are \”top secret plans afoot\” that we won\’t hear about for a while.

Miyamoto defends Wii Fit

Miyamoto has said that he would love to see a rise in new conversations between family members about Wii Fit in Britain like families in Japan do. Miamoto doesn\’t think that there is a risk that \”consumers will think that running on the spot in their living rooms is ridiculous\” and \”will just go outside or join a gym.\” Miyamoto says Wii Fit can work together with other activities and he recently used ii to stretch with before going jogging in Central Park.

Third party review of the latest DS Flashcard - iTouch DS

64 Scener popped on the forums to post up one of the first reviews of the very recently released iTouch DS flash card from the M3 team. The cart seems decent enough, in terms of its price, and good save support - however, the reviewer notes that there is room for improvement as it currently lacks good firmware and isn\’t too user friendly. Nintendo may ‘refresh’ DS if sales momentum does not continue

Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian has said he believes that \”Nintendo could launch a refresh of its handheld platform if sales momentum does not continue.\” The prediction comes after Nintendo announced that it \”plans to accelerate DS sales momentum with further penetration into the consumer mass market and by introducing new software and services for the platform.\” Lizard Capital say they have expect DS unit sales in the U.S. of 6.4M in 2008 but they believe this forecast might be conservative.

It’s now, watching Niko stand, his shoulders slumped, that the depth of this game finally hits me. Niko’s journey, the one crafted by Rockstar, may have ended, but Niko’s adventures in the story I am creating have just begun.”" The most anticipated game in awhile to be sure.
