PC Magazine - One down, two to go. Microsoft held their E3 2008 press conference on Monday — the first of the big three, with Sony and Nintendo following on Tuesday — and if anyone thought the Intellisponse leaks last month meant there wouldn’t be any surprises, they were wrong. Well, partly.

Reuters - Sony Corp (6758.T) said on Tuesday that it plans to launch in September a PlayStation 3 game console with an 80-gigabyte hard drive for $399, the same price as the PS3 with a 40-gigabyte hard drive.

NewsFactor - Nintendo announced Tuesday at the E3 video-game show in Los Angeles that its much-anticipated Animal Crossing: City Folk game for the Wii console will ship in time for the holiday season. It also announced a surprise peripheral — a speakerphone to ship with the game that will allow players to chat with other players.
