Wii’s lack of horsepower severely limiting zombie count in Dead Rising?

Some official screenshots have been released of the Wii build of Dead Rising and unfortunately it looks as if the Zombies have taken a big cut. Don\’t go expecting the masses of zombies filling the screen as seen on the 360 version as it seems as if the Wii can only handle around a dozen at a time. More screens at WorthPlaying.

Nintendo responds to hacker: We have to patch this as fast as possible

Bushing has posted that a member of the Nintendo team has got in touch with him over his supposed method that could allow for pirated games to be played on an un-modified Wii. The poorly worded letter started off by Nintendo stating they do not support what Bushing is doing but they need to patch the issue as fast as possible so they are willing to listen.

SEGA officially announces Sonic and the Black Knight Wii exclusive

Resident Evil Zero on Wii reviewed and yes it freakin’ sucks!

IGN has reviewed Resident Evil Zero for Wii on import and it seems to be a very poor game. They state that it feels pretty much lazy and rushed and question why even bother to re-release on old game at a normal price with nothing being brought up to the slightly improved speed of the Wii.

Kojima: The next level of gaming isn’t possible yet on this hardware

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has told the BBC that the graphics and sound quality of games will continue to get better but there is a limit to how much we will be amazed by this. He commented the next level will include things such as dynamic backgounds, for example leaves growing when you water them instead of pre-programmed ones and this is not possible right now but maybe in the future of gaming.

Hirai to PS3 40GB owners: You still have a very powerful machine

In light of news that Sony will be phasing out the 40GB PS3 in favor of an 80GB PS3, Sony\’s Kaz Hirai has stepped in to reassure owners of the 40GB SKU that they still have a very powerful console. He noted that 40GB is obviously less then 80GB but its still a high number and Sony wanted to just improve the value proposed by the PS3 to the end consumer.
